Nicole Richardson

Nicole Richardson received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Union College, USA. She then went on to graduate from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health. Nicole also received a Master of Social Work from New York University (NYU) Silver School of Social Work where she was the co-President of the Phi Alpha Honor Society. Nicole studied public health and completed her practicum as a hospital administration process improvement intern at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, USA.

She worked as a public health research assistant at NYU Langone Medical Center, USA, and also in child welfare as a Westchester Resource for Adoption Program specialist at Westchester Institute for Human Development. She gained extensive experience providing therapy during her time as a clinical social work intern in child welfare as well as life skills coaching at NYU’s Child Study Center in the Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinical and Research Program. She is a pediatric behavioral consultant who specializes in working with children and families. She co-authored studies at the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at NYU.

She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at New York Medical College, USA. Nicole’s research interests include examining and designing best practices to address healthcare disparities as well as the evaluation of processes to improve patient experiences as well as overall health outcomes.
