Nefertari holds an MSc from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research, and has a BSc in Psychology. She completed the Sexual and Reproductive Health Research training course with the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research (GFMER) in 2019, in which she was one of the best performing students. In addition, she also participated in the 2019 Research Methodology and Research Protocol Development course. She has been a coach with GFMER since January 2021.
Her main research interests include women’s reproductive and sexual health: family planning programmes, safe abortions, gender based violence, comprehensive sexual education (CSE), epidemiology and social epidemiology.
