Stellah is a graduate of the University of Nairobi, where she undertook her Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from 2007- 2012 after winning the Rita Levi Montalcini Foundation Scholarship. Stellah has a background of having been brought up in the Slums of Kibera and was a Street Child in Nairobi. She did her internship at Murang’a District Hospital after which she was absorbed as a Medical officer. Stellah has been very active in issues affecting Reproductive Health and in 2011, she chaired a campaign dubbed ‘’Medics against Maternal Mortality’’ whose aim was to do a 24 audit on causes of maternal mortality and also to prove that accessibility to health service providers reduced the Maternal mortality.

This Model has been adopted by the First lady of Kenya Margret Kenyatta dubbed ‘’Beyond Zero campaign’’.

In 2013 Stellah got a Presidential appointment to sit in the HIV/AIDS Tribunal of Kenya as a Board Member which she does until date.

Stellah is currently working as a Manager in Avenue Healthcare.

Stellah also just got an opportunity to be the Medical Doctor ‘’Dr. Mambo” in a Magazine called Youth and Success Magazine where she responds to issues of Sexuality, Reproductive Health and Social issues affecting the Youth.

Stellah is almost through with her online advanced course in HIV management from University of Washington. She has gotten admission to study MBA- Healthcare Management at the Strathmore Business School.

In her free time, Stellah walks the streets of Nairobi treating the street children suffering from common ailments, gives the street mothers contraception and champions against drug abuse. She is also a health and wellness advocate who gives talks on preventive medicine.

Stellah is passionate about matters of HIV/AIDS and reproductive health.
