Dr. Maryam Alaradi is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain. She received her Ph.D. in Nursing in 2014 from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, USA, and her master’s in science from the University of Pennsylvania in the Neonatal nurse practitioner track in 2006. Dr. Alaradi worked as a staff nurse in medical units and as a midwife in Labour & Delivery, antenatal and postnatal wards for six years. She then worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a nurse supervisor and then as a neonatal nurse educator for 10 years. Dr. Alaradi has a number of publications and presented posters and oral presentations at national and international conferences.
