Dr. Lilian Ngwongem Ngwana epse Banmi was born on 15 December 1980. She graduated from the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy, Russia in 2007 with a Diploma of Doctor in Medicine and later obtained a certificate of specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the same Academy. She also doubles as a facilitator of PEPFAR (US President’s Emergency Plan For Aids Relief) in the Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS/option B+; Emergency Obstetrics and Neonatal Care (EmONC) in Cameroon. She held the position of back up physician at the US Peace Corps Yaounde (2012-present). Currently, she is an ObGyn consultant at the Yaounde Gynaeco-Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. She is married and blessed with two children.
