I was born on 3rd November 1987 in Bhutan. I obtained my Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from the only Health Institute in the country. I have under gone the one month training on International Advanced Midwifery Training at BCNU, Thailand in 2014. I have worked  as a Staff Nurse in Medical and Pediatric ward for Three years and for last Three years I am working as a In charge of Maternity ward and Labour room in a Regional Referral hospital, the largest hospital serving as referral centre for Eastern Bhutan.

In addition to that I hold the extra responsibility as a regional EmNOC focal person where I have to deal with (death investigation) all maternal and neonatal deaths. I have to conduct regional neonatal and maternal death review meeting quarterly and have to present in national MNDI review meeting annually.

During my training time in a health institute I was elected as an institute counselor among 350 trainees and I also got the award of best student during my graduation.

My aim in future is to do Degree in Nursing/Midwifery and further study in Midwifery.
