Dr Ahmed Darreer is born on the 29th December 1973. He graduated from University of Kassala, Sudan in 2004 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and obtained many courses in HIV and family planning. He held the position of general Director of Tagadom Rural Hospital funded by Italian cooperation and also the position of medical director in Prince Digna Referral Hospital. Currently he is studying master of international health and medicine in Parma university in Italy which will be finished in the next October 2015.

He is widely travelled, married and bless with one daughter.
