Abdusemed Mussa has a first degree in Sociology (BA) and a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH); he is a Knowledge Management Officer in Pathfinder International–Ethiopia Office. He has over 10 years’ experience in implementing public health programs in Ethiopia. In his current role Abdusemed is involved in the development and implementation of Knowledge Management for the Integrated Family Health Program (IFHP) that includes the ongoing gathering of qualitative information, success stories, case studies, lessons learnt and other relevant information, ensuring that they are appropriately packaged, stored and shared. He also takes charge in the writing and production of various publications including program successes and best practices, technical briefs, annual reports and other communication materials. Before moving to his current position in 2014, he served as a Communication Office and has been actively involved in family planning advocacy. He has also served as M&E Data Management Officer in Pathfinder International. He is a member of the Ethiopian Public Health Association.
