Réjane Zio is born on the 3rd of October 1977. She graduated with a Bachelor of Midwifery from the National School of Public Health of Ouagadougou (Burkina-Faso) in 1999, and obtained a Master Degree in International Public Health from the Institute of Public Health, Epidemiology and Development (ISPED) in Bordeaux in 2007. She worked as a Midwife in the Regional Hospital of Gaoua (Burkina-Faso) and as a Project Coordinator for “Doctors of the world” in the Northern Mali (Gao and Kidal). Currently she works as “Maternal and Child Health” Program Manager in the International Department of Sidaction, which includes capacity building in PMTCT and pediatric AIDS care and treatment in 11 African countries.
She is also involved in humanitarian actions with CIAD, an NGO working in Africa.
