Stenly is Indonesian and is a Medical Doctor. He obtained a Master of Science with distinction in Disaster Management from Coventry University, the United Kingdom.

He has more than 13 years of experience of managing, monitoring and evaluating humanitarian programmes, especially in the areas of reproductive health, GBV, nutrition, gender and protection.

He has experience of working with various UN agencies [i.e.: UNFPA, UNICEF, IOM and UNHCR], NGOs [i.e.: Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme in Humanitarian –SPRINT of International Planned Parenthood Federation, International Medical Corps, Church World Service], and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies [IFRC] in Indonesia, Liberia, Senegal, Myanmar, Ghana, Malaysia, the Philippines and currently in Pakistan.
