Mr. Fredrick Wanyonyi graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2007. He did his internship at Pandya Memorial Hospital, a private hospital in Mombasa. After one-year internship, he trained as a medical transcriptionist before landing a job as a tutor at his current station. Due to his good performance, he was promoted to his current position, the principal. He heads the school that offers Diploma course in Nursing. The school is owned by Catholic Diocese of Embu. Despite his demanding administrative duties, he creates time to teach mainly community health in class and assess students in the clinical placements.
He has attended several conferences including the first human resources for health (2011) at KICC Nairobi, HIV/TB regional stakeholders’ conference at Meru, Kenya.
He also holds a certificate in epidemiology and global Health University of Dundee, Scotland (2011) organized by international preventive research institute (IPRI).
