I’m a medical doctor who is now a lecturer of Epidemiology in School of Medicine & Health Sciences/Ahfad University for Women (AUW). I am the Reproductive Epidemiologist and one of the RH experts in many ongoing AUW partnership research projects on Child and Reproductive Health. I have Part one in Ob/Gyn (MRCOG I) and an MSc in Epidemiology from LSHTM. Also, I am a PhD in Epidemiology candidate from Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo. My interest is research in areas related to safe motherhood and safe motherhood initiatives as well as epidemiology of Reproductive health issues specifically in developing and under developed countries. I’m greatly looking to benefit from skills training at this distinguished course as it is most relevant to my field.  My career development plan aims to strengthen the following:

  • Developing a more solid background in prevention and etiologic research.
  • Developing a solid background in research project planning and management especially community based trails (study design, data collection tools and result analysis).
  • To have amble training in Evidence based RH policy analysis.
