After my postgraduate study, I worked for five years as a researcher on HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health of Adolescents and Young People both at NGO levels and the research centre of the Department of Health Promotion University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I joined the University of Ibadan as a lecturer in Health Promotion in 2007 and have since then continued researching and lecturing on Health Promotion and Population and Reproductive Health.
I am currently a PhD Research Fellow at the National University of Ireland Galway Ireland and a working member of the Health Behaviour in School- aged children (HBSC) in Ireland, which research study aims to gain new insight into, and increase the understanding of young people's health and well-being, health behaviours and their social context. I would like to conduct research that promotes the sexual and reproductive health of children, adolescents and young people. I am interested in research that reflects building healthy public policy, strengthening community action and developing personal skills on the sexual and reproductive health of young people.
