I worked for national Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in the capacity of Junior Public Health Professional-giving curative and preventive health services based in Health Center. Subsequently, I worked for indigenous and various international non-governmental organizations assuming various posts on public health programs.
My area of expertise and interest include: Pubic Heath Strategic Planning, Implementation, Management and Monitoring and Evaluation systems; designing and implementation of Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (RMNCH) program; carrying out assessment of community based nutritional status among under five age of population and management of different forms of malnutrition-severe, moderate, and severe-complicated malnutrition; handling trainings related to RMNCH, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness(IMNCI), Health Promotion, Public Health, and Epidemiology; and conducting operational researches.
Currently, I am focused on conducting studies on emergency medical care, preparedness for natural and man-made hazards.
