I’m an Obstetrician & gynecologist from the North Sulawesi (Celebes) province in Indonesia. My main duty as a lecturer in Faculty of Medicine – University of Sam Ratulangi and as a clinician in Prof Kandou Hospital, Manado. My other task is for Monitoring & Evaluation our Medical Education Unit.
Previously I was involved in some activities funded by international donor, namely Community Based Cancer Control (collaboration with AMC Amsterdam) & Female Cancer Program (collaboration with Leiden University).
I was given some opportunity to be visiting fellow in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2007) and as FIGO (International Federation of Obstetric & Gynecology) Fellow in Tyerberg Hospital / Stellenbosch University – South Africa (2009).
As an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) for 2008 – 2013, my main responsibility is to promote & educate community about breastfeeding.
By joining this program, I hope could get many updates international knowledge and experience as well to share information with friends all over the world, as a based to improve our local system.
