My name is Sayed Sharif Hamed. I was born in 1972 in Herat Afghanistan. I have started primary education on 1979 in Jami school up 9th class. In 1988 I joined the intermediate medical institute in Herat and studied for three years up to 1991 to become a nurse, then I have worked for three years as a nurse in different clinics and Herat regional hospital up to 1994. On 1995 I started faculty of medicine in Herat province and graduated from faculty on 2001. After graduation from faculty I have worked in different positions and different places. From 2001 up to 2004 I have worked as teacher in Heart Institute of Health Sciences; at the same time I was working as a doctor in Heart regional hospital in surgery ward. From 2004 up to 2008 I was working as midwifery program manager in Institute of Health Sciences: this program was funded by USAID and project implementer was World Vision International. From 2008 up to September 2009 I was working with another NGO (CHA) as master trainer to give on job training to other health care providers who were working in the fields. From September 2009 up to now I am working as midwifery program manager in Heart Institute of Health Sciences with another NGO called CAP ANAMUR.
