I was born 29 years ago and brought up in Asgori town (a small town 60 KMs south west of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia). My school life started in 1987 when I have been enrolled in primary school in the town. After 8 years of study, I took the National Examination and scored an excellent grade (99.3%) which helped me to join secondary school.

After 4 years of secondary school attendance, I have taken the Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate and scored 3.8CGPA with 5 “A”s (the qualitative meaning of which is very great distinction). Then I joined the then Debub University in southern part of Ethiopia and studied public health. I have been awarded B.Sc in public health after 4 years of study in July 2003.

After enjoying more than 3 years of working in government and non government organizations, I have joined Addis Ababa University, School of Public Health to attend post graduate study in public health in Nov, 2006. I have been awarded MPH in July 2008.

I have been working for UNICEF Ethiopia as nutrition officer for the last two years.
