I am responsible of teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students. I am involved in the conduction and supervision of research of undergraduate and post graduates. I also run my duties as a consultant of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Soba University Hospital, which is the biggest teaching Hospital to the University of Khartoum.
I obtained the MB BS from the University of Khartoum, and clinical MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same University. I obtained the Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Sudan Medical Specialisation Board. I was then sponsored by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for recognized postgraduate training, during which I obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. While I was in UK, I joined the progamme of Training and Learning for Health Professionals (TLHP), and obtained the Certificate in Medical Education (TLHP), University of Bristol, currently awaiting Registered Practitioner status with the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
I am now continuing for a Master degree in Medical Education with the University of Bristol as a distant learner.
My special interests are teaching, medical education, laparoscopic surgery and research.
