Ms. Campo holds a Master’s degree in Laws from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and a European Master's degree in Human Rights and Democratization. Ms. Campo specialized in equality and non-discrimination issues with a special focus on women’s rights and sexual and reproductive rights. She wrote a master’s dissertation on the rights-based approach to reproductive health and conducted research on issues such as family planning, migrant women’s rights, asylum and migration, sexual minorities, transgender rights, etc. Ms. Campo deepened her academic training with professional experience, both with international NGO’s (Human Rights Watch, International Commission of Jurists) and on a governmental level (Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
