The Oxford University Maternal and Perinatal Health Institute (OMPHI) in collaboration with Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research (GFMER) has provided health professionals from Afghanistan with a two-day, free training on The evidence-based management of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. The training was developed as an e-learning module by the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford and funded by the MacArthur Foundation through EngenderHealth.
The course was conducted for two days in Kabul Medical University for 37 students (resident trainees). In the first day of the session, after the opening by Dr.Homa Kabiri, the participants started login to the course. Dr. Katayon Sadat and Dr. Akseer as a facilitators provided enough technical support to the participants on how to login to the course and how to use the e- technology. It is worth to mention that at the end of the two days session the students found the course very useful.
