I am very honored to share the good news that our international research team has been awarded a large-scale competitive international research grant under #Elrha_R2HC funding call for research to strengthen health systems in humanitarian settings funded by the UK FCDO. The University of Gondar is the leading organization, working in collaboration with #Karolinska_Institutet, #McMaster_University, the #Ethiopian_Ministry_of_Health, and #Ethiopian_Midwives_Association. The project aimed to evaluate the implementation of midwife-led person-centered comprehensive abortion care among internally displaced women in seven war-affected administrative zones of the Amhara region from February 2023 to July 2024. I am very proud to lead this impactful research project with a vibrant transnational team (Ethiopia, Sweden, and Canada). Huge credit goes to the team.
