While serving in Yala as a National Volunteer for Cuso International I saw other needs young people face. Determined to make a difference using my service year I did my bits.

Implemented more than 10 projects...

Being Batch A 2018, our POP was affected due to 2019 elections, it was without its normal fanfare and ceremony. Nonetheless I was glad to have completed my service, those who knew about my projects were eager as to why no one was called for any award but I wasn't bothered just excited to have completed the service and moving ahead to the next phase of life.

Fast forward to two days ago, I got a call from the award and disciplinary department that I have a commendation certificate for all the meritorious projects I did, I was surprised sha.

So today I went to NYSC secretariat to get it.
