After diving deep into a month-long capacity building training along with 31 Youth Leaders from across Africa, I like to share that I've successfully completed the program and received my certificate.
Throughout the training, I have increased my knowledge in SMART advocacy, accountability, and effective ways to engage decision makers on Adolescent and Youth-specific commitments and priorities. Now equipped with the skills to identify key priorities and partnerships, I will continue to drive gender-transformative advocacy both in Liberia and across Africa.
One of the highlights from the training was the power of storytelling and its thoughtful impact on our efforts to enhance the health and well-being of young people. Plus, learning how to effectively communicate Adolescent and Youth Family Planning issues to inspire action among decision makers was truly enlightening.
And I’m not gonna forget the fascinating discussions on Gender Integration in SRHR programs – definitely impactful!
A huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the FP2030 Eastern and Southern Africa and North, West, and Central Africa teams, as well as the Knowledge Success Team, for coordinating such an enriching training experience.
