I have conducted an awareness session with adolescent girls in Wau Protection of Civilians site in Wau State, South Sudan about menarche and menstrual hygiene management.

The objective of the session was:

1. To support women and adolescent girls and bring awareness about menarche and sexual reproductive health through information sharing session.

2. To raise awareness about hygienic menstrual practices and risk of miss-management during menstruation.

3. To increase awareness in usage of sanitary pads and its proper disposal.

They were supported by sanitary pads, washing bar soap and underwears at the end of the session.
