WHO has released new STIs guidance and policy implementation data, in the STI & HIV 2025 World Congress in Montreal.

The 2 new components of the upcoming consolidated guidelines on STI prevention and care include:

(1) the Guidelines for the management of asymptomatic STIs,

(2) and the Recommendations on the delivery of health services for STI prevention and care.

The session included an update on gonorrhoea, EGASP, implementation in Brazil and Malawi.

Thanks to the magnificent support of Prof. Magnus Unemo, Director of WHO Collaborating center on STIs (Orebro University), Professor Maria Luiza Bazzo from Brazil and Dr Mitch Matoga from Malawi.
