I was born on the 23rd of August 1989. I graduated from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB,BS) in 2014. I obtained a certificate in healthcare financing policy for universal health coverage from the World Health Organization (WHO). I also obtained certificates in understanding women and girls right, and understanding human rights from Young Africa Leadership Initiative (YALI).

I currently work as a health right advocate in Nigeria, advocating for quality, personalized and accessible health coverage for all. I run awareness programmes on matters relating to women and girls health in schools, religious organizations, communities, and social media. Harmful practices that infringe on the rights of the girl child such as child marriage and female genital mutilation are still prevalent in Nigeria. I currently engage with the public and policy makers to ensure the rights of the girl child is protected.

Presently I volunteer with the United Nations (UN) through the Sephamid Bridge Foundation where we work to revive hope in adolescent girls who have dropped out of school due to teenage pregnancy and educate those in school on the need to make informed decisions about their sexuality.

I am fluent in writing and speaking English, Yoruba and also understand basic French.
