I was born on 7th July 1981. I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 2011 and obtained M.B.B.S certificate. After serving the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kano, I applied for Masters in Health Economics at Bayero University Kano. Having obtained the Master of Health Economics Certificate, I proceeded to obtain another Masters in Public Health from ABU Zaria. I received training on Minimum Initial Service Package for victims of rapes in humanitarian (under Boko Haram) setting (MISP) organized by UNFPA. I also participated in the assessment of context specific barriers to uptake of nutritional programs in Yobe State organized by Operational Research and Impact Evaluation (ORIE). Before leaving for further study, I was the focal person for UNFPA in Gashua, Yobe State. I am currently a supernumerary registrar in the department of Community Medicine ABU, Zaria.
