I was born on the 10th of July 1977 in Rukwa region, Tanzania and obtained a certificate in both ordinary and advanced secondary education. I graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam with a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D) and served as an intern doctor at Mbeya zonal referral hospital rotating in all departments including obstetrics and gynecology department in 2006/2007. I have served as a senior medical doctor at Sokoine University of Agriculture in the department of Health services attending all patients with different medical conditions and performing all minor and some major surgeries including caesarean section. I went for further studies and obtained MSc in Control of infectious diseases in 2010/2011 at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and did a research on Human papilloma viruses among school children in Mwanza Tanzania. After my masters I worked with the Millennium village’s project as the Health and Nutrition Co-coordinator in Tabora region in Tanzania. Currently I work for CDC in Dar es Salaam Tanzania as a public health specialist on HIV Care and Treatment with a portfolio of pediatric HIV advisor as well. I have interest in infectious diseases especially sexually transmitted infections such as HIV etc. I speak Kiswahili and English.
