Fikadu Tura Debele is currently working for Adama city administration labor and social affairs office and he is head of the department of children and family affairs. Adama is the 2nd largest city in Ethiopia coming next to Addis Ababa. Before coming to the city administration 10years before, he had been worked for education department of Arsi zone of Oromia regional state as community educator and training provider. He has vast experience in organizing and providing training programmes on HIV/AIDS prevention and control, eradication of harmful traditional practices, Gender based violence and the feminization of poverty, community health promotion and preventive measures and the building up just and equitable society towards sustainable human transformation.
Right now, Adama city administration labor and social affairs office entered an agreement with Adama referral hospital to provide health and medication service to poor women and children in need of the service and incapable of covering the cost associated. Mr Fikadu Tura is overlooking this joint effort on behalf of labor and social affairs office. As trainer, social mobilizer and development planner, Mr Fikadu Tura is passionate to environmental health and the impact of climate change on the general wellbeing of the economy, humanity and the ecology.
