I was born on the 2nd of October 1986. I graduated from Ahfad University for Women with both Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) and a masters degree in Public Health (Reproductive Health track). I have worked in two different hospitals as a medical officer for three years. Currently I am the head of unit at the surveillance office in health emergency and epidemic control at the Federal Ministry of Health. I am very much interested in reproductive health as I believe it is a very important and crucial specialty in Public Health.
I attended and presented a scientific paper about unintended pregnancies at a Public Health conference in Sri Lanka in July 2016. In the same year, I also attended a Federal Ministry of Health training workshop in case study development and outbreak investigation which was held in Khartoum state in collaboration with Robert Koch Institute in Germany.
