I was born on May 10, 1984 and have over nine years of experience in the nonprofit sector. I earned a Master degree in Public Health from the Cuttington University in Liberia and a Bachelors’ degree in Sociology from the African Methodist University in Liberia. Working as a Program Manager for the Planned Parenthood Association of Liberia (PPAL), my responsibilities include the development and management of health program activities, coordination, monitoring and evaluating program implementation to ensure attainment of planned results, provide technical support to improve staff performance, resource mobilization, and develop and maintain networks with partner agencies for resource sharing and saving. Over the past years, I volunteered and worked with several community based organizations making contributions aimed at increasing adolescents and women access to sexual and reproductive health information and services and other positive health outcomes. Previously I worked with youth educating them on HIV/AIDS risk reduction, adolescent sexual and reproductive health and other infectious diseases information especially at the community level while employed with a local Research Institution funded by the National Institute of Health/United States of America. I acquired skills in projects management and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and training facilitation. With strong passion for youth development, I mentor many young people in my country. My interest includes adolescent sexual reproductive health, public health policy and management, and infectious disease epidemiology.
