I did my undergraduate in Jimma University in Nursing and obtained post basic certificate in Midwifery from Addis Ababa University. I did my masters Degree in public health from Addis Ababa University. I obtained certificate in improvement Advisor from IHI in 2011. I have been working at different organization in different positions, I begin my professional career in service provision at a health center level, then moved to teaching and research work at Jimma University (https://www.ju.edu.et/), while working at the university I did my MPH at Addis Ababa University (http://www.aau.edu.et/) since then I have worked to different international Non Governmental organizations in different areas such as consultant in research areas, M&E officer for HIV/AIDS program, leadership in strategic information training coordinator, Quality assurance officer, training and service delivery improvement, program manager. Currently I am working as senior quality improvement advisor at Emory University Ethiopia in maternal and newborn health program. Currently, in addition to my position at Emory University, I am serving as a member of the research advisory council for RMNCAH and National steering committee for health quality improvement of Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia.
