Adam Abdulkadir (Somalian citizen) was born in October 1989. He joined Medco BioMedical Collage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for his tertiary education obtaining BSc in Public Health (excellence distinction) between 2008-2012. In October 2012 he was appointed as junior lecturer in East Africa University, Galkayo campus, Somalia, where he taught a number of core public health courses. In April 2013 Adam, joined GMF organization as project coordinator.
Adam, who had attended a number of coaching programmes throughout Somalia, is also a member of many professional societies. In September 2014, he also became a part time lecturer at Global Science University and won University teaching award in 2015.
Adam earned a number of scholarships notable amongst which have been undergraduate Sudan government scholarship for Somalian citizens in Khartoum University 2010 (declined), post-graduate Ethiopian government scholarships for Somalia government in Mekelle University 2015 (deferred). In October 2015, Adam won Pan African University scholarship in the institute of life and earth science (including health and agriculture) University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, which is a continental initiative of the heads of Governments of African Union where he is in the final year in MSc in Reproductive Health sciences.
