Hi! I am a fourth-year resident in gynecology in one of Mexico’s most important hospitals of perinatology. The type of patients we treat varies a lot, because they come from all over the country as our hospital is a reference center for difficult cases. This has granted me access to many realities in my country, which make me want to better prepare myself for the sake of these women. I believe it all begins by research, which we still lack. That is the motivation behind my desire to obtain this diploma.
I’m the president and founder of “Cambiar Realidades”, an association that promotes activities helping communities in Tlanchinol, Hidalgo - one of Mexico´s poorest states. I’m also the 2013 Junior Fellows Chair of the ACOG in Mexico.
