I am Eatimad Abbas; I was born on the 10th of September 1976. I graduated from Al-Quds University, Palestine, in 1998 with a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BSN); I obtained a Diploma in Midwifery from Bethlehem University in 2002 and a Master in Community and Public Health from Berizeit University, Palestine, in 2007.

After graduating from university - from 1998 to 2007 - I worked in different local health services settings including hospitals and clinics. Providing nursing and midwifery care for clients and women in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and family planning were my main job. I also actively participated in some national health campaigns such as raising awareness toward breast self-examination and mammograms, Pap smear collecting specimen.

Since 2007, I’ve been a lecturer and clinical instructor at the Midwifery and Nursing departments of Ibn Sina College for Health Sciences, including both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

My main job responsibilities are: Running different courses; Labor, Antenatal Care, Postpartum Care, Gynecology, Family Planning, Family Health, Nursing Ethics, Nursing Research and Health Education. I am also the Coordinator for Post Partum Care course in the college.
