After completion of my M.B.B.S and my internship, since October 1990 I have worked as a resident of Gynaecology and Obstetrics for six years. After completing the residency program in 1997, I worked as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Shahid Beheshti Hospital-Qom, and as a Associate Professor Gynaecology Obstetrics at Fatemia University of Medical Science-Qom for five years (1998-2002). I served as Head Of Dept. Gynae and Obstetrics in Shahid Beheshti hospital for two years (2000-2002). From 1998 till 2005 I have worked at my own private clinic as a consultant. Since Sept 2005 I have worked as a senior consultant at the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of Khoula Hospital, Muscat, Oman. I teach and actively participate at Sultan Qaboos Medical college students as Senior Clinical Lecturer. I am also senior trainer of OMSB residency program. Since 2005 I am the Deputy Head of Department of OBGYN Khoula Hospital. From 2008 I am also serving as the Head of Gynaecology unit Khoula Hospital.

I have a diploma in minimal access surgery from World association of laparoscopic Surgeons 2007. I have also completed the diploma at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Burwin Institute, Canada 2009. I have completed Executive MBA course from Hull University UK 2011.

During these years I have acquired vast experience as a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician and tried to advance my knowledge and experience by attending workshops and courses nationally and internationally to serve the patients in the best of my ability, and to share my knowledge with my colleagues and students.

I am trying to increase the laparoscopic gynaecologic procedures where indicated and possible in Khoula hospital, as it is more beneficial thoward patients and more cost effective for ministry of health and Government of Oman as patients are well aware of benefits of laparoscopic surgery and many of them go to other countries seeking for treatment.
