My name is Tayseer Ayed. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland. I grew up in Saudi Arabia and lived there until I finished high school. After that I came to Sudan and started medical school in 2001 in Juba university and earn my MBBS in 2007. In Feb 2013 I joined the family medicine residency program at SMSB. Now I completed 3 years in the training programme and I will set for the 2nd part exam at the end of this year. In addition to the training activities, I volunteered to worked at the woman health clinic in the family planning section in Omdurman Maternity hospital in Sep 2015 till now.

I loved being a family doctor and this's because I have the opportunity to help educate people on how to change their lives to become healthy, achieve goals, and make informed decisions, whatever their goals may be. What I love the most is when I care for women because I believe women are the key for development and helping them to take their own best decision means a step forward to better future for my country.
