Dr Saude Abdullahi Ibrahim graduated from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), in 2001. Undergoes residency in obstetrics and gynaecology, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Nigeria and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology, UK. She obtained a masters degree in MPH-Field epidemiology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria, in 2016.

Currently, she is a principal medical officer at Hospitals Management Board, Kano, Nigeria and affiliated to NFELTP.

Dr Saude has participated at various capacities in several outbreak investigations, surveys, researches, assessments, enumerations and protocol development, under the Federal Ministry of Health, Center for disease Control (CDC), National Stop Transmission of Polio (NSTOP) and Boston University.

She also serves as a mentor and a facilitator for Nigeria frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program from 2016 until date.

She is a member of the viral hemorrhagic fever working group of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (N-CDC) and has just been awarded 2016/17 TEPHINET grant for rapid nutritional assessment in an IDP camp in Abuja, Nigeria.

Dr Saude has supported her husband during his diplomatic tours in several countries across the globe.
