Ronke Atamewalen was born in into a humble family in Ondo state located in Southern western part of Nigeria. Ronke Atamewalen was admitted into Unity Secondary School Owo, one of the nine prestigious Federal schools in the states, and discovered passion for caring for people and putting smiles into people faces. This led to an academic journey in the field of Nursing.

Ronke Atamewalen is an experienced clinical Nurse/Midwife with demonstrable knowledge on reproductive health, Maternal Child Health and broad program management. Her cognate experience spans 16 years of practical experience with Teaching Hospitals, and Non-governmental sector of the health system focusing on Reproductive Health.

Ronke Atamewalen possessed a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife, Family planning Certificate, and Advance Diploma in Public Health. Ronke Atamewalen also had a Master degree in Health Management. Presently She is running a certificate course on sexual Reproductive Health (SRHR) from Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research (GFMER) as well as NIDB Doctor of business Administration program (Swiss Business School).

Ronke has a unique ability for facilitation and capacity building through participatory approaches, she also has a unique experience working with government and non-governmental sector in the initiation and management of broad base health related development program. Ronke has built the capacity of over 500 service providers on LARC and CCSPT.

Ronke is a fast learner, able to utilize logical and rational judgment with a talent for evaluating many aspect of a problem and focusing on key issues; proven ability to maintain composure in highly demanding situation; an excellent communicator with strong written, verbal and excellent interpersonal skills who performs adequately as an individual and in a term setting with little or no supervision.

She also has a robust understanding of quality management in both private and public health programming.
