Mr. Ahmed Vandi is borne on the 30th April, 1963. He graduated with a certificate (Community Health Officer) in 1988. He proceeded to do a Diploma in Community Health at the African Medical Research and Educational Foundation (AMREF) in Kenya in 2001 and later obtained a Master of Science (MSc.) Degree in the Control of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), University of London in 2007/2008. Mr. Vandi has been involved in the training of the middle level heath care providers in Sierra Leone since 2008. He worked as a Community Health Officer for a period of six years in the rural communities with preventive, curative and promotive interventions at the peripheral health units. He is presently enrolled for PhD degree in Public Health.
