I was born on December 31/ 989 G.C in Debark town, North Gondar. In January 2011, I was awarded BSc degree in public health from University of Gondar College of Medicine and Health Science with great distinction. Following that I have been in a rural health center in west Gojjam for around ten months and during that period I was actively engaged in doing and coordinating activities in ANC, PMTCT, PNC and delivery as well as working in the OPD and following HIV patients.

After my career in the rural health center; I have been working in Gondar University Hospital as a clinician (Health Officer) both in the outpatient department as well as in the inpatient department particularly in TB ward by running MDR TB program as a coordinator and supervisor of treatment follow up health facilities in the Amhara region and also by managing TB/HIV co infected patients. During my stay there I have got tremendous experience in field work and team work.

Since September 2013, I am an Instructor in University of Gondar college of Medicine and Health Science Institute of Public Health (IPH) department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. By June 2015 I received my MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from University of Gondar with a very great distinction. Since April 2015 up to date I am head of Department of Health officer. Currently, I teach epidemiology, communicable disease control and research methodology courses to under graduate and post graduate students and also I advice masters students. Besides these, I am a fellow of SCOPE which is an organization mainly work on in preventing mother to child transmission of HIV and improving ANC in Ethiopia.
