I graduated in 2004 with advanced diploma in registered comprehensive nursing from Soroti School of comprehensive nursing Uganda, also holds a bachelor’s degree in Health services management that I obtained in May 2010 in Islamic university in Uganda Mbale Uganda. During my studies, I took part in scientific research at my institution and my main areas of study interest were causes and effects of teenage pregnancy, which filled me with concern.
Upon graduation, I was employed in as a clinic supervisor with technical guidance to new employees on Family planning, antenatal care, immunization, sex education to youth and general clinical practices while working for medicines sans frontiers Holland in Lira District Uganda.
In my work with the current employer AMREF Uganda, I am responsible for supervising the implementation of Sexual reproductive health and rights in northern Uganda with the population of over 500000 people. I’m working closely with the beneficiaries, community health workers (Village Health Team), Health centre staffs from level II to IV, District health department, CBOs, District SRHR department and other NGOs to conduct supervision, trainings and technical guidance for Health centre staff, village health workers, youth clubs, setting up e-learning mechanisms in Health centre IVs, data collection, data analysis and using data to plan for development.
