I, Georgina Matsvayi aged 28 am a registered general nurse who graduated from Harare Central Hospital in 2006 with a diploma in General Nursing.

During my training I was very much interested in obstetrics and gynaecology. After finishing my training, I worked at the Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital just 100km outside the capital Harare and was seconded to the outpatients department. I was working in the sexually transmitted infections clinic and I was very much moved to want to know more, and I believe this is the best opportunity for me.

In November 2009, I then joined Bokamoso Private Hospital in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana where I was also seconded to the outpatients department. I was working also with patients with sexually transmitted diseases which also inspired me to want to know more about sexually reproductive diseases.

Currently I am based in South Africa and processing my registration with the relevant authority.
