In 2007, I joined Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh-India as a MPH scholar; where I had extensive studies in core subjects like epidemiology, biostatistics, health management, health promotion, and research methodology. During my MPH studies, I took part in many small scientific research projects including the mandatory dissertation titled as “Evaluation of the functioning of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) working in Health sector in Chandigarh-India”. In fact many of the NGOs under my study were actually working for adolescents group, high risk groups for HIV/AIDS. I am conducting orientation programmes for Medical officers and paramedics on Adolescents friendly Reproductive and Sexually Health services in Himachal Pradesh. In fact, I am working closely with the medical officer- in charges and the trainees for ensuring the quality of health services at the ARSH clinics in their respective health institutions, and developing the monitoring and evaluation mechanism.
