I have been a senior doctor since 2006 in the 1-st Gynecology Clinic Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in the Obstetrcis Department, under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Florin Stamatian.
I have conducted important scientific and research activity, centred, so far, on various aspects concerning feto-maternal medicine.
I graduated the first Training Course in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research in 2003 with the dissertation “Systematic review on the incidence/prevalence of stillbirths”, having as coordinators Ana Pilar Betran, Lale Say – World Health Organization.
The knowledge accumulated during this course has permitted me to improve my research activity and have embodied in obtaining a national grant which took place in the 1-st Gynecology Clinic Cluj Napoca between 2007-2008. Based on the research conducted within this project I could finish my doctoral thesis in 2009, with the title “Reevaluation of diagnosis methods of acute intrapartum fetal distress”.
All of the scientific, didactic and research activity that I have done up to the present have had as starting point the period of training under the coordination of the best specialists of the Department of Reproductive Health of the WHO.
Actually, this is the strongest motivation underlying this application for a new course held by the same professionals.
