Lives in Geneva, Switzerland, Married, 2 children.
Born in 1945 in Geneva, graduated from the Geneva School of Engineering (in Electronics) in 1966. A career which began in 1967 at the Centre d’Etudes Nucléaires de Saclay (French CEA) after graduation in Particle Accelerator Physics from the INSTN and Faculté des Sciences d’Orsay (Paris), included work at the Swiss Institute for Nuclear Research (ETH Zurich), joined the Diogene Project (pioneering hospital information system) at the Geneva University Hospital in 1973.
As Scientific Consultant, joined the EEG Laboratory of the Clinique Universitaire de Psychiatrie in 1982. From 1990 to 2000, Director of Aquarius S.A. Geneva, Digital Sound for Picture PostProduction Company. After responsibility as IT Coordinator at the Geneva University Medical Centre, became Project Manager in Cooperation and Development for NGO (Education, Rural Development and Alternative Resources) and the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research (PostGraduate Medical Training and Research Project Support). Now looks forward to strengthen cooperation projects with South East Asia developing countries.
