My focus for this course will be on sexual assault education, emergency services, and trauma recovery work in rural New Hampshire and Vermont. I hope to assess the potential for mobile and telehealth applications to improve healthcare provision and outcomes in this area. Further, I hope to develop a project proposal in partnership with regional medical professionals, researchers and scholars, and community agencies. I was the director of the Center for Women and Gender and, subsequently, a director for training and educational programs in the Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity, both at Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH, 1994 - 2008). I have taught writing, literature, and women’s and gender studies courses to undergraduate college students since 1985. I am also a writer.
