Judith Aklama has over 20 years experience in local government in the field of social care. Graduated in international studies and languages and currently reading Msc at Coventry University. Thesis on effective use of Mhealth in achieving overarching health goals in LMIC

Formerly specialised in displaced population including refugees and asylum seekers, she occupied various senior positions in both statutory and voluntary sector. Changing career to assistive technology led her to project manage integration and mainstreaming of telecare/telehealth into care management (older people and learning disability) in local authorities. Her enthusiasm and professional interest in assistive technology includes not only the technology itself but also the impact on behavior it induces in people and the effects found with surrounding factors.

Judith was born in Togo, grew up in France and resides with her family in England.
