Kenneth Kabali is medical doctor working as quality assurance officer and TB/HIV advisor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Makerere University College of Health Sciences medical school and a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Manchester. He has a passion for public health, particularly health policy formulation. He has vast experience in reproductive health having worked very closely with various consultant obstetric and gynecological doctors as medical superintendent in Kololo- Kampala, a hospital majorly specialized in maternal health. Before that, due to his keen interest in reproductive health, he did a 3 months urological elective placement in the Guys Hospital, London. He also currently advises on a maternal and neonatal health project where he works. At present, he oversees 24 hospital accreditation programs, assess the compliance, supervises formulates and reviews standard operating procedures, guidelines and policies at the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB) which has a network of 259 member health units. In addition he oversees continuous quality improvement in the treatment and care of HIV & TB in six facilities implementing a CDC-PEPFAR funded program.
