A United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Public Health Officer inspects a newly completed staff house for a midwife in November 2015. This will support the Gorom Refugee Camp, South Sudan through 24-hour coverage of a night duty midwife and nurse in order to prevent mortality as result of obstructed labor at night. Dr. Wycliff Katwesige, a Health Officer with the UNHCR, is committed to providing refugees with reproductive health services in this camp. The team also discusses ways of expanding the maternity block using the 2016 budget.
